What to expect during your scan
Your 2D Little Beginnings scan lasts 10–15 minutes.
We will look for a heartbeat using M-mode to see your baby's cardiac activity. We can listen to your baby's heart rate starting at 13 weeks.

2D Little Beginnings is an elective 2D ultrasound session at 4D Sneak Peek in Jackson, Tennessee. It is designed for the early weeks of pregnancy, giving you an opportunity to see your baby and share the moment with loved ones.
Our boutique studio has a spacious private viewing room, a theater-style screen, comfortable seating, and no guest limits. Bring the people you want to share this experience with.
How is 2D ultrasound different?
2D ultrasound shows flat, black-and-white images. This session is a 2D experience, not a 3D or 4D ultrasound session. Our other packages include later-pregnancy options for families interested in 3D ultrasound images or 4D ultrasound.
Our elective ultrasound sessions are for bonding and keepsakes. They do not replace prenatal medical care. Continue your regular appointments with your healthcare provider.
